A FINE AND IMPRESSIVE LATE 19TH CENTURY BRASS INLAID BOULLE WORK AND EBONSIED THREE TRAIN BRACKET CLOCK the case with galleried cushion moulded top above brass grilled side panels and outset columns to the front door enclosing an arched gilt scrolling foliated engraved dial with silvered Roman chapter ring and subsidiary dials above for chime/silent, Westminster/eight bell chime and regulation dial to the centre. The substantial three-train chain-driven fusee repeating movement with anchor escapement quarter striking on a series of eight bells/four gongs and hour striking on an optional large bell/gong. (30cm wide, 53cm high, 25.5cm deep )
