A Chinese blanc de chine figure of Guanyin, 19th century. Standing, wearing flowing robes with ruyi scepter in right hand and beads in other, with a mark impressed to her back, height 55cm, width 16cm, depth 12cm. Consigned by a local vendor who bought the figure from David Lays Auctioneers, Penzance in the 1990's. Small end of finger broken off but the piece is present. Small star type old hairline near the mark on the back.
