A pair of Leeds Fireclay Lefco Ware jardiniere and stands, the tapering square section stands cast with foliate panels, the bowls with a similar band of foliate decoration, glazed oatmeal, height 93cm diameter 47cm.
Provenance; purchased from the house sale of Temple Newsam Hall before the estate was purchased by Leeds City Council in the 1920's, then by descent.
Condition as per the attached 18 pictures - which show damage to the rim on one, (8cm long) crazing throughout on both, several small chips, nibbles to the stands.
