VOSTITSA & SYRA FUMIGATION; Pair with July 1834 EL to Nauplia ex Vostitsa with rare double-ring "KINGDOM OF GREECE/HEALTH OFFICE/HARBOUR OF VOSTITSA" cachet on front - the latest of three example believed to exist and Nov. 1836 EL to Syra ex Volos dipped in disinfectant at the Megali-Delos lazaretto and struck with the oval "HYGEINOMEION SYROS" h.s. on both front (in black) and rear - the latter giving a green appearance due to being applied while wet and apparently the only such combination of applications.
