Nyasaland. 1897 (Jan 8) 4d Registration envelope size F sent to India at the 1d soldiers concession rate, endorsed "sender no 256 LC Naick Asa Singh, Armed Forces in BCA" and countersigned by the Commanding Officer (Capt. W.H Manning, for the Lt. Col.), the 1d stamp cancelled "863" with a Zomba c.d.s alongside, backstamped at Chinde, Sea Post Office and Simla, with oval handstamp applied on the Bombay-Aden Sea Post Office containing the manuscript registration number.
