A George III Longcase Clock, with eight-day movement striking a bell, the 12.5-inch square brass dial with pierced and hand-cut steel hands, applied silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals and engraved John Stokes, Bewdley, subsidiary seconds dial and calendar aperture with Arabic numerals, cast and applied gilt-brass spandrels, the walnut veneered case with plain caddy top trunk door with herringbone cross-banding and Torus moulding, on Cavetto and Cyma Versa moulded pedstal base, 205cm high. (clock working with weights hung, pendulum tin suspension strip broken and requires replacement)
