Pair of Victorian ruby glass lustres, with crenellated tops enamelled with floral garlands and gilt details, supporting two rows of lustres over a domed base, height 36cm
There is wear to the gilt decoration; worn more on one than the other and in particular there is a gilt horizontal line through the baluster column, which has all but disappeared on one of the vases. The wear is both on the upper rims and around the body through handling, particularly on the baluster column and over the dome base. Some of the droplet lustres have chips.
