Star Lot - A superb, and highly collectable, sterling silver LeCoultre pocket watch. Engraved in a fine italic ''Fanon à Preuilly'' on interior. Furnished with an enamel hourly and second dial, with roman numerals. Serial number - 252546.
Accompanied by a sterling silver clad case, for desk display. Case is hallmarked Reginald Walter Hewett, Birmingham, 1919 the watch is in Super working condition. It is top notch.
The brand Jaeger Le Coultre as we know it today famously formed officially in 1937 after Jacques David LeCoultre accepted a wager from Edmond Jaeger to produce an extra fine line of his own design.
