A group of 6 Victorian animated magic lantern slides, including figure on horseback, a man brushing his hair etc, 2 Victorian kaleidoscope magic lantern slides, 5 other magic lantern slides etc
The animated slides are all in well-used condition, some are in need of repair or attention, the 2 kaleidoscope slides again in good overall but obviously used condition, other slides some are broken, all in used condition, 18 in total. Vesuvius slide - glass good, a few nibbles, dirty (affects image), W93E, frame damaged. WE73 - swan and jester - glass good, panel moves well, some paint loss. WE64 - lady on horse - good, used, no damage to plates, some decoration loss. WE78 - glass panel broken and paint loss, slide needs some attention. WE72 - man brushing hair - glass good, some paint loss. WE74 - lady shaving man - glass need reattaching, no break, some paint loss, backing paper needs replacing. WE63 - ships in harbor - undamaged but nibbled to edges, plates loose from frame, no backing plate, paint loss. W98E + W97E - kaleidoscopes - good, some age related damage to frame, glass good, minor paint loss.
