As you can see from the images, the painting looking to have been re-mounted with a narrower mount giving a larger aperture which shows how much the paper has discoloured leaving a paler, original colouring all the way around the edge. There are no obvious signs of any foxing or tears. The frame shows some wear and marks through age and use.
