A stunning, solid coppered culpture, modelled by the artist Étienne-Henri Dumaige (1830-1888). This piece depicts a young child grappling with a large hare in a playful stance. This is a nice, neat piece, but heavy and sculpted in very fine detail. Signed Dumaige. There is lots of age to this piece.
