A blanc de chine figural lamp base in the manner of Minton, late 19th or early 20th century, modelled as three cherubs back to back against a three branch tree stump embellished with exotic flowers and foliage, on gilt edged triangular base, 47.5cm high including fitting

The piece shows a repaired break at the top of the tree stump, with further repairs to two of the cherubs' arms, one of the wings and one of the heads. The floral and foliate embellishment shows various losses and repairs. The reservoir shows some staining below the lamp fitting and around the embellishment. The lamp cable has been passed through a hole drilled in the ozier detail at the base of the reservoir.
