A Cunard programme for the Grand Concert aboard RMS Carpathia, Tuesday Oct. 3rd, 1911 in aid of seamans' charities of Liverpool and New York: the gilt embossed cover with lithograph of a liner above text, 18.5 x 12.3cm, attached inside are two pieces of paper with pencil manuscript note that appear to be journalists' notes, the cover also annotated with notes. *Notes- Built by Swan & Hunter for the Cunard line in 1901 and launched in 1902, RMS 'Carpathia' operated mainly between Liverpool and New York. She is most famous for being the first vessel to the position of the Titanic and rescuing 705 passengers. During WWI as part of a convoy she was sunk by a German U-Boat off the coast of Ireland.
