WW1 KGV Royal Engineers 1897 Pattern officer's sword No 49069 by Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall, this number listed as being made in the middle of the 1914/17 period, so probably early 1916. 50% of blade etched including royal cypher, Royal Engineers around thunderbolt design etc, some light damage to plating, leather scabbard with outer leather carrying case, leather sword frog and knot, very fine.
