Manchester United Football Club interest: a rather unusual boxed Wedgwood Jasperware in Black presentation set in gilt rope effect frame with red velvet background, one plaque with the Man United logo in gilt with a gilt decorated plaque with Old Trafford, plaques 16cm long, frame 37x54cm.
Provenance: the vendor believes that this is 1 of 2 produced. Supposedly, the other was given to Sir Alex Ferguson and the other was gifted to a relation of the vendors by a well respected employee of Wedgwood. The employee thought they were being very kind in gifting this to their friend until they realised he supported Manchester City and not United. It has been stored away for some years until now when it is being offered for auction.
In good condition with no damage.
