A Chinese red and black lacquered folding double 'Travelling' chair, Qing Dynasty, early 19th century, with overhanging top rail with a pair of shaped back splats pierced with ruyi head detail above a woven rattan seat and individual footrests. Bearing Chinese inscription to the reverse of each splat. 110 cm overall length x 101 cm high x 43 cm deep
