A South African Railways cabside numberplate, 2522, from a 3ft 6ins gauge Class 19D 4-8-2 built by Krupp, Works No 1634, in 1937. A versatile class, they were one of the last steam types to see regular use in South Africa. Cast brass, 20¼"x14¼", in ex loco condition. (Postage Band: D)
