Mardon, Son & Hall - Cigarette Packets - W.D & H.O Wills - Bishop Blaze & Fine Shagg Tobacco - two late 19th / early 20th century oversized printer's proof tobacco packet labels for Wills' Tobacco. Bishop Blaze (first produced c1840s) featuring red printing on white paper, with the text 'WD & HO Wills Late Ricketts Wills & Co - Superfine Shagg - Bristol' with the Trade Mark emblems to either side. The second being for Fine Shagg Tobacco 'Wills & Sons, Bristol' with trademark and storage instructions either side. As used by artists at Mardon, Son & Hall during production of the cigarette packet artwork. Largest approx: 19cm x 26cm
