A large late 19th century Japanese bronze okimono of a Geisha by Genryusai Seiya, cast wearing a kimono, obi and elevated sandals (geta) the right hand raised adjusting a kanzashi hair pin, the left arm holding a shamisen against her body with a bachi (pick) in her hand, standing on a naturalistic base which is signed in seal form script, Meiji period (1868-1912) 62 cm high
