Bayonet: A good British 19th Century socket bayonet for a flintlock musket. Socket engraved 'LXII No3. 73'. Makers name 'John Roe'. Inspection mark 'B16' & 'S'. In v.g.c. for age. In a brass mounted leather scabbard, chape loose. *Note LXIII Regiment = 63rd West Suffolk Regt. (Pre 1881 Title). This is an above average bayonet in collectors grade condition.
