A smokebox numberplate, 6648, from a GWR 5600 Class 0-6-2T built at Swindon in September 1928. Allocated to Cardiff Cathays by January 1948, it spent most of its BR days at Treherbert and Radyr from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 8 May 1965 and sold for scrap to Hayes at Bridgend.
