A worksplate, AVONSIDE, 1858, 1920, from a 2ft gauge 0-4-0T new to Sir J.L. Hulett & Son at Darnall Sugar Estate, Natal, South Africa where it saw service at the sugar plantations on the De Jagers Estate, Umhlali, which were under the control of Huletts. The tramways there closed in 1967. This loco was preserved and is displayed, multi-coloured, in the playground of Tiny Tots Nursery at eMalahleni in the Nkangala District Municipality of Mpumalanga in South Africa. Cast brass, 10¾"x6½", the front repainted. (Postage Band: B)
