James Davey. A rare early 19th century broadsheet. 'A Copy of Verse On the Sad Accident which happened to [sic] Hayle, on the 4th of June, 1815; Composed by James Davey, of the Parish of Gwennap, now Residing at Guilford, near Hayle,' a description of the drowning of 8 youths, aged between 13 and 27, whose boat capsized, these named at the end of the 12 four-line stanza account along with the three survivors; With Anthony James.
