Launched in 1996, Alfa Romeo's most recent GTV models established themselves in the UK, just as the affordable European Sports Car was enjoying something of a renaissance. Described by Alfa as one of the most beautiful Sports Cars you can buy at any price, the GTV was quite a sharp motor car and sounded even better than it looked. The styling was unmistakably Alfa Romeo, from that trademark triangular grille, through those distinctive twin circular headlamps to the stubby, dynamic tail treatment. The GTV was pure Italian in style.

The vendor advises that this is an unmolested Phase 1 GTV Lusso 3.0 24v, in Tropica Verde Green. It has the original alarm fob (which actually works, unlike most GTVs) along with codes and a large file of work done in recent years, including:

2013 ( 89k miles): Clutch slave, rear spring pans, coil springs, KONI sport suspension and brake pipes. (£2,269)

2014 (94k miles): Belts service, water pump, auxilliary belt, radiator, drive shaft, power steering pump, brake hoses, discs and pads. (£2,733)

2015 (96k miles) battery and full service. The wheels have been refurbished.

There were no advisories on the 2016 MOT, and on the recent MOT, expiring 29 March 2018, the County Council Test Centre advised of slight corrosion on front coils and rear suspension arms. The bodywork is excellent and the interior is good. The electrics are generally fine, other than the first digit on the mileometer is showing zero, not one, but the mileage is easily verified by MOT history. Currently used as a daily driver and the mileage will be about 100,500 at time of auction.
