AN EARLY 19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY AND BRASS MARINE STICK BAROMETER BY BARRAUDS OF LONDON, brass hanging loop to the top above an engraved ivory name plate, hinged door enclosing fold out thermometer (a.f.) and barometer with brass scales, ivory eyelet for the missing adjustment knob, brass gimbal fitting (currently with a small Sotheby's label attached), turned base fitted with brass cover which is missing the bulb cover at the base, height 95.5cm Important note: This lot contains elephant ivory material, please be advised that several countries, including those in the EU and the USA now prohibit the importation of ivory unless under specific conditions.
