A late 17th century oval oak gateleg dropflap dining table - of good colour, very original, the oval top raised over a moulded frieze with wavy aprons to the ends, raised on carved barleytwist supports united by peripheral stretchers, incised with double lines to the top and a moulded lower edge, on turned pad feet, the top opening on gatelegs with barleytwist and block supports united by twin shaped stretchers. (LWH 153.5 x 50.5 x 74 cm, 147 cm long when open)
