A WELL MARKED 1899 PATTERN CAVALRY TROOPERS SWORD BY MOLE OF BIRMINGHAM.
With an 85cm long single sided blade with pointed end, the blade marked for Mole of Birmingham and 01 for 1901, with four inspection marks with similar dates, the back stamped '99', the ricasso with arrow and 'x'. With a broad sheet steel guard stamped HY 220, the tang back 2/CL/74, with black chequered grips with 3 rivets. The Steel scabbard with double suspension rings and marked EFL and '01. 105cm overall.
