An Antique Georgian hairwork split pearl mourning ring, the oval panel with central convex glazed compartment containing woven hair, within a border of cut-down collet set split pearls, with trifurcated shoulders and closed-back setting having dedication "R Rowland Obit 17th May 1831 Aged 69", unmarked mount tests as 9ct, setting height 11.4mm, size S, 3.3g
Glass have numerous surface abrasions, all pearls present, a few have surface and edge nacre chips, closed backing has several light dents, back of shank has a join section, unmarked
