A Japanese Meiji Period (1868-1912) figure of Kannon, the bodhisattva dressed in robe and modelled in seated position holding a scroll with her eyes downcast, her white robes picked out with dragon roundels, unmarked but old paper labels to the base, converted to lamp base, figure height 16cm, overall height 28cm.

More Information

Drilled through the middle, slight chip to the top of the head where it has been drilled. Small areas of crazing to the robe.
