An early 19th century oak longcase clock by John Ramsbottom of Hall Green, the square brass dial, 30cm , having Roman numerals, Arabic chapter ring, subsidiary dial, signed and engraved with scrollwork to the centre, foliate spandrels, 30 hour movement, having a square hood with rounded pilasters, long trunk door, over a plain base, on bracket feet, 196cm high, c.1840
