CANADA" (the American Airlines New York to Chicago flight crashing on Canadian territory); and a cover from Ottawa to Edmonton with the stamp washed off, backstamped "District Superintendent of Postal Services / OCT 1 1941 / NORTH BAY, ONT.", from a mail bag lost from a mail compartment of a Trans Canada Air Lines aircraft (not recorded by Nierinck).
