Fine Quality Japanese Nageyari Horseman's Shortened Spear
6 1/2 inch, quadrangular, polished steel head with faint hammon. Lower copper heart decorated ferrule and two plain bands set over mother of pearl and abalone decorated panel. Polished wooden shaft shortened in length. Head complete with its black and red lacquered, wooden covering case. Overall 59 inches approx. Good early, fine quality example.
