1827 Pattern Royal Navy Officer's Pipe Back Fighting Sword


29 3/4 inch, single edged, pipe back and quill point blade.  Etched crowned anchor and crowned royal coat of arms within foliage panels.  Forte with faint maker "Kenning".  Gilt brass guard with folding rear panel.  Crowned fouled anchor cartouche.  Lion mask pommel with part, plain backstrap.  Shagreen grip with twist wire binding.  Contained in its black leather scabbard with gilt brass mounts.  Complete with later, gilt cord sword knot. Contained in a chamois sword bag.
