1797 Copper proof twopence, George III. Presented in a non-numeric NGC holder (rim damage). As often with the currency examples these susceptible to edge knocks and clearly is the case here. Whilst this does not give rise to similar grading on currency pieces it seems odd then that it should be "detailed" for this reason. The obvious knocks aside the coin is a handsome example with attractive dual tone between the fields and edge/devices and much as struck. Choice UNC, very scarce [Peck 1069, S.3776]
