Rudyard Kipling's most well know work is The Jungle Book (1894) and he wrote it in Naulakha, his house close to Brattleboro, Vermont in the United States of America. He was one of the most popular writers in the English language during the 19th and 20th century. He received the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1907, making him the first English language author to win it. He also remains the youngest recipient of the award.
