British EIIR Naval Midshipman's Sword complete with knot, case and Officers cross-belt, the sword inscribed to J.A. Lee, RN on the hasp. This sword was purchased from Gieves & Hawkes Naval Tailors at BRNC Dartmouth in December 1978. Midshipman Lee had an extraordinary service record 1975-1986 a summary of which saw him serve on: HMS Ganges, HMS Pembroke, HMS Warrior, HMS Kent, HMS Fearless, HMS Drake, , HMS Osprey, HMS Newcastle and HMS Nelson. The sword is in beautiful condition with an etched blade and gilt fittings.
