A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 63404, DARLINGTON WORKS, 1919, from a North Eastern Railway Class T2, LNER Q6 Class, 0-8-0 No 2247 built in June 1919, renumbered 3404 in 1946, becoming BR 63404. It spent most of its BR days at Consett before moving in 1962 to Sunderland from where it was withdrawn on 17 May 1965 and sold for scrap to T.Baum at Middlesbrough. Cast brass 9"x5", with BR renumbering strip, cleaned but unpainted. (Postage Band: B)
