A pair of Japanese Satsuma twin handled vases, Meiji period (1868 - 1912). With finely painted and gilt highlighted naturalistic scenes with birds and views of Mount Fuji with sailing boats. Shimazu Hotoda painted marks beneath. 7.2 in (18.3 cm) height. (2 items).
Condition report: Excellent condition except for small chip to underside of foot of one vase.
