*Arthur Crow Junior, born 24th March 1928, died 26th January 1997, was a little-known but well regarded maker of archtop guitars, based in Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado, USA. He lived with his large family on a farm at Longmont, where he built fine jazz guitars with exacting care and attention to detail. One of his signature touches was the inlaid headstock logo showing the twin peaks of the Rocky Mountains that he looked out on from his workshop window and a pickguard that features a rooster crowing at the moon. His memorial headstone reads 'Guitar genius'
