Fees

1930 Cotton Blackburne, 350cc. Registration number VE 3547. Frame number 5407. Engine number CVA 3942.
Sold with the V5C, V5, R.F. 60, large history folder.
VE known history goes back to 1944 with 7 owners noted in the R.F. 60, the last in 1969. By 1993 it was with Peter Watson who sold it as a project in 2000, which included the Blackburne engine. There then followed a very comprehensive photographic restoration between 2005 and 2010 by John Wright of Pontefract (Spicers sold John's collection on his passing in 2019). There is a detailed 523.75 hour list of what he undertook.
It is testament to Johns work that it still looks like it has just been finished even though it has been on many runs including the 2010 Cotton Club meet at Brooklands.
