GB.PENNY BLACKS 1840 (July) a very pretty and rare entire letter from Taunton to Wells, bearing 1d black Plate 3 "EI" with four good margins and neat upright orange-red Maltese cross leaving much of the profile clear, alongside are an upright Taunton cds that has been crossed through and Taunton Py Post dated cancel applied next to it. A lovely usage.
