Both of similar form, standing, legs apart, wearing a crown, with diagonal-ribbed long hair, collared gown, with wide waist belt, the male with a beard and one arm raised to his chest, the female wearing a cross pendant necklace, one hand across her belly, height 47.3cm, width 10.3cm, depth 10.5cm, (2)

The Rhys ap Thomas Bed, in the collection of St. Fagans National Museum of History, Cardiff, Wales, acc. no. F00.3.3, has comparable figures to the base rails of early 16th century date
