£5,800
A large continental Art Deco period handmade pottery bowl with turquoise-blue glaze (55.5 cm wide including handles).
Condition Report: This item is large, heavy and hand-made and shape is more oval than round. There are three approx. 1-inch firing cracks emanating from the lip into the main body, there are other firing cracks also on the handle and glaze crazing throughout. The underside of the foot is unglazed. There is a lot of kiln dirt, scratching & pitting, brown marks (dirty) to the centre. Overall a pleasing piece but not in 'perfect' condition.
