JIMMY SPEIRS COLLECTION / 1911 FA CUP FINAL WINNER The following 23 lots were the possession of James Hamilton Spiers who was born in Glasgow 22/3/1886 and represented his country on one occasion, scored the winning goal in the 1911 FA Cup Final, and received the Military Medal during the First World War and was killed in action on or around 20/8/1917. He joined Rangers in 1905 and moved to Bradford City in 1909 and became captain scores the only goal in the FA Cup in 1911 before joining Leeds City in 1912.
SCOTLAND CAP 1908 Speirs cap for his only International v Wales in 1908 including the description card from the National Football Museum in Manchester where the item was displayed. Good
