An early Mouseman burr oak panelled double wardrobe from the Kilburn workshops of Robert Thompson, c1928. The wardrobe features half penny moulded top frieze, adzed top, front and side panels and traditional wrought iron latch and hinges. Internally, there are fitted shelves with drawers under to one side and hanging space to the other, the whole raised on block feet.
Provenance: Purchased directly from Robert Thompson by the vendor’s grandfather and retained by the same family ever since.
