1930s "SPECIMENS", IMPERFS. & 1943-58 "ARMS" ISSUES PROOFS, ETC.: Various colour proofs, progressive proofs, mostly signed inc. 1943 15f Provence colour proof, 1955 50c Comte de Foix, 70c Marche & 80c Rousillon colour proofs each signed by the engraver (Fenneteaux, Freres & Aufschneider respectively). Also progressive proofs of 1953 3f Dauphine & 1955 1f Comtat Venaissin signed by engravers Piel & Miermont plus qty. of mint blocks/sheet, etc. Lot includes 1936 'Intellectuals' set of 4 SG 563-66 optd. "SPECIMEN". Minor imperfections & no gum, but scarce. Also 1944 Nat. Relief Fund set (less 1f.20 value) unmounted mint imperf. plus a cover with a range of 1930s issues on it. A god lot.
