A RARE CHINESE PORCELAIN REVOLVING SNUFF BOTTLE ZHUANXIN PING, QING DYNASTY
Possibly made at the Imperial Palace workshop. With alternating painted motifs in panels and peony bush open work. One image painted with a grasshopper on a sweet pea plant and the other a bee flying among chrysanthemums. The inner container painted with red bats and can revolve 360 degree freely. With domed lid, base marked 'Qianlong Nianzhi' (Made in the reign of emperor Qianlong 1735-1796), height 7.5cm.
