rare regimental example of the 1821 Light Cavalry Pattern sword. The blade etched with a crowned VR cypher, HAC entwined initials, Light Cavalry scroll and the original owner's name of E. Duckworth. The forte with the retailer's details of Kirby of London. The hilt with three bar open guard and shagreen grip. Complete with scabbard. Some overall age wear, etching clear.
