A pair of Chinese porcelain yellow vases, Da Qing Tongzhi Nian Zhi, 20th century, each baluster vase decorated with reserves of birds and fruiting vines against a yellow ground with lotus scrolls, the neck of the vases flanked with lugs moulded as dogs, iron-red Tongzhi seal mark to the underside, 26cm high (2)

One vase with restored chip to the rim, measuring 1.5cm approx. Some crazing the yellow ground towards the lower section of the vase. Small firing crack to the foot rim. The other vase appears free from chips, cracks and restoration. Both have signs of surface wear and scratching commensurate with age.
