An antique Chinese bronze mirror or dish: of dished circular form, the upper surface undecorated, the sides waisted, the underside with incised concentric lines, 17.9cm diameter, good patination, small repair to rim.
* Condition: Small repaired chip to rim. The inside rim to the same side as this repaired chip has scratching and pitting to the surface of the bronze, and also some tiny frits around the top edge of the rim. To the exterior below and around this chip there is also similar surface pitting to the waisted outside edge, and fritting to the edge of the base. The base has an attractive dense scattering of blue-green verdigris style encrustation to the surface of the bronze.
